Installing Windows Vista

After inserting the Windows Vista disk the following screen will appear. Click Install now to begin the installation process.

When the next screen appears it will inform you that the installation is ready in a few quick steps. Click the Next button.

The Product Activation Key screen will appear. Type in the Windows Vista Activation Key and click the Next button.

The License Terms agreement will be displayed in a text document on the screen. Please review the License Terms of agreement. After reviewing click the button to the left of I accept the License Terms. Click Next button.

Review the default Windows setting and click Next. The default drive is C:/. You can change these settings by clicking on the Click here to select where to install Windows link.

Enter the desired Computer Name into the text field. After typing the computer name click the Next button.

The Where Do You Want to Install Windows screen gives users the option to choose which partition to install Windows Vista on depending upon what partitions were setup in earlier steps.

Now Windows Vista will install. The computer will restart several times during the installation process.

Windows Vista is finished installing. After the install, you will see the following desktop. The first screen is called The Welcome Screen, used to Navigate through Windows Vista.
