The most common cause of this issue is an incorrect user name format.
Make sure the user name follows the following format:
Username: user@home.cableco.com
Example: bob@home.thecablecompany.com
Remember to type in the full username as shown in the example above.
Also verify that the password was typed in corerctly. If needed, contact the local tech support to verify the username and password.
Another cause of this issue is an incorrect format for the host name.
Make sure the full host name was given by the ISP. The format should be something similar to: host.thecablecompany.com.
